Intuition

I was recently asked how do you determine inutition from impulsivenes. Good Question. I know that intuition not properly grounded can be misleading or used to justify actions. Also, we often don't trust our intuition because we really don't know ourselves and are so used to having something or someone externally telling us what to do, how, to do it, when to do it. It is by developing the proper self/subconscious thought patterns that we learn to understand them first.

Music is a way for me to develop intution - I become lost in the vibrations and sounds that opens me up to possibilities. I also meditate on the Tarot Major Arcana (usually one card per week, sometimes two). I write down what impressions I receive, I think about how that relates to me right now what is the lesson... etc.

In this day and age we are bombarded by so many messages via computers, television, phones, music it is difficult for us to have controlled impressions unless we spend time in meditation daily, with discipline.

Working with Tarot in my relationship to the Divine, I know that I can received the extra energies, gifts, mental/emotional intuitive impressions I need to manifest better experiences.

As it often happens in studies and walking a path, there comes a familiarity that results in staleness, boredom that leads to frustration. All this as a result of not holding my attention or intentions on the One Power that directs consciousness...
